Dogs eat their food in various ways. Some are very tidy & eat slowly. Then there’s the middle type eater that eats @ a steady rate, but doesn’t stop. I’m concerned about the gulping dog. That isn’t healthy & they could choke on the food, whether it’s dry food or moist.

The best thing I have found to make the dog slow down while eating is a product called Kong, the slow Feed Pet Bowl. This one is 9.7” diameter & 1.8” high.

Dogs eating from this bowl forces them to eat slower. Not only will they enjoy their food but also seem to like the challenge.
